While driving towards Watson Lake this week I spotted two caribou, which seemed to be licking the road.

They waited a little while before moving into the brush.

Winter is coming and there’s some frost forming on the trees. This photo was taken during sunrise on the Alaska Highway, heading to Teslin from Whitehorse.

Winter is on the way in Yukon. On the road the other day I saw these birds getting fat at Johnson’s Crossing south of Whitehorse.
