Fall colours part 2: Riverdale lookout point

   Riverdale is a neighbourhood of large trees at the foot of a mountain.

The neighbourhood has an excellent scenic lookout road.

 

Return to Whitehorse: Fall colours everywhere

 I was out of town for two weeks and returned to find Whitehorse a changed city.

The fall colours are resplendent.

 

Flying a quadcopter

Spotted at shipywards park today in Whitehorse: A man was flying a remote-controlled quadrotor helicopter. They’re amazingly stable and resemble a flying saucer.

 

Last of the summer scenery: Walk near Chadburn lake

Whitehorse is surrounded by wilderness and some world-class walking trails.

This network of trails near Charburn lake is maintained by the Rotary Club.
